Born from the SCGA’s 2022 “Virtual Golf Leagues” pilot program and now adopted by the USGA, the GHIN Challenges gives golfers a fun way to use their Handicap Index and add a little friendly competition to their everyday rounds.
GHIN Challenges will run from Oct. 7 - Oct. 31 and feature 11 participating courses in Southern California.
Getting involved is simple: Play a round at any of the listed courses, post your score in the GHIN app and you’ll receive an in-app notification inviting you to join the challenge. Play as many rounds as you want and your top-three adjusted net scores will determine your standing on the real-time leaderboard.
Although there are no prizes (yet) — just bragging rights — GHIN Challenges is an easy, engaging way to visualize your progress, connect with other golfers and test your game with a competitive twist.
